Upcoming Events - Please Help!
We have plans for multiple events in October, November & December in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. And events beyond just AI films and into AI games, AI music, and more! We’d love to do them more often but are looking for folks who can help organize and sponsors who can help with venue, food, AI subscriptions, etc. If you’d like to help, feel free to reach out to us at hello (at) machinecinema.ai
We have a ton of event ideas to bring in new and experienced creators to create new art, film, and creative with AI and we’re open to more event ideas if you’d like to collaborate! Let us know.

Community Toolkit - Maddie Hong and Minh Do got together to create a simple community guide for the latest tools (and eventually tips) for everyone in the community. It’s editable, so feel free to jump in and add your favorite tools and tips.
Weekly Community calls on Wednesdays 10a PST - If you didn’t know already, we do a weekly community call where we discuss latest workflow tips and check in on AI projects we’re working on. Email us if you want to be added to that list.
Whatsapp Community - If you’ve attended our events, you know that we have a Whatsapp community where everyone chats about projects, news, tips, and more. If you’d like to join, let us know and we can add you at hello (at) machinecinema.ai. We have been considering expanding this to Discord, but for now, we like the intimacy and friendliness of Whatsapp and will consider expanding to Discord at a later time.
Community Initiatives
Runway’s Hundred Film Fund - Runway is launching a big AI film fund, allocating millions of dollars to new potential projects. A dozen of us already got on a call to talk about collaborating on this. The idea is individuals or teams could submit their projects to Runway, but also have the support of the Machine Cinema community in their productions. Let us know if you want to get involved!
